HISTORY:

Flint was born into a noble family, with his father being a Viscount before him. Growing up, he had two older brothers who were extremely competitive and competent, both wanting to inherit their father's wealth. Flint, on the other hand, was more occupied with the arts and spent most of his childhood doing leisurely activities while his brothers studied and worked under other nobles and militant figures. Concerned about Flint's skillset, his father appointed a tutor for him and while he did become more proficient, he never achieved the level of excellence his brothers did.

When he was old enough, he began to attend court with his parents, but didn't always understand the issues that were going on. So, while his brothers often made speeches and did their best to influence the court, Flint could only stand by and watch. He wasn't jealous of his brothers, but he wished he could do better somehow. That never really happened.

In his late teen years, his father suddenly suffered from a heart attack and died, leaving the issue of inheritance up to the brothers to settle. Immediately, the older brothers began to argue over the amount of wealth and land they should each get. When they confronted Flint about his wants, Flint told them that they could have whatever they wanted. He didn't care about what he got, as long as he did not have to participate in the fight.

Finally, after much debate, it was settled that the second brother would receive a large proportion of the wealth while the eldest brother would receive the estate and most of the assets. Flint was left with virtually nothing. The one substantial thing he got was the title of Viscount, which neither of the other brothers really cared for because they had already earned their own titles with their hard work. However, seeing the poor and helpless younger brother on his own, the eldest brother decided to take him under his wing and let him continue to live on the estate like he did previously. And so, Flint continues to whittle away at his days with no real responsibility or job to cater to. If nothing changes, then maybe it'll be like this for the rest of his life.

PERSONALITY:

A very kind disposition, Flint is very unwary of strangers and is always willing to help someone who needs it--if there is no one stopping him. Usually, he is quiet and doesn't speak up unless someone asks him to and when he does, he tries to be polite in every manner. He dislikes violence and aggresion and will usually try to run away when confronted with force. However, he is also easily bent to others' will and has trouble refusing favors that he dislikes.

Flint likes to spend time reading, playing music, and taking walks, living his days leisurely. However, due to this, he also feels like he is rather useless and isn't fulfilling his title even though others tell him that it's no big deal. That leads to his rather low self-esteem, which makes him feel guilt ridden if something bad happens around him. If someone insults him, he is more likely to crawl away with his tail between his legs than retort. However, when he is doing something he likes, he can be rather cheerful and optimistic and forgets about his troubles.

A friendly approach and a smile is almost all it takes for Flint to trust a person, which can be a very bad thing. If it weren't for his family and servants, he would have been kidnapped as a child multiple times. However, perhaps it is also this shield that has made Flint such an uncautious person. As for romance, Flint can be a hopeless romantic and believes that there is only one person for him. If someone betrays his trust, then he feels incredibly broken. However, he never seems to learn his lesson, which allows the people around him to keep using him for their benefit.

FLAWS:

Pushover-
Flint is a real pushover who can't stand his ground easily. He is really easy to persuade and is often used by the people around him to achieve their needs. He can't seem to see his own opinion when others bombard him with them and can't say no to a request, no matter how much he is cheated out of. Also, he is most likely going to run away from a confrontation than dealing with it.

Dull-minded-
Compared to his siblings, Flint is much less brighter than they. Although he reads, he isn't suited for highly technical thinking and calculations. He takes things literally that aren't meant to be and therefore misunderstands the meaning of others.

Coward-
Flint doesn't like the dark, ghosts, and otherwise scary things. He can't stand violence and the sight of blood makes him feel faint.

Gullible-
He'll pretty much believe anyone he perceives as friendly tells him. And it's not hard to appear friendly to him. Therefore, he is easily tricked.

Irresponsible-
Flint runs away from problems, even if they affect more people other than himself. This is the part of him he struggles to correct, but he just can't bring himself to face his weakness. He is also bad with stress and cannot function when too many expectations are on him.

APPEARANCE:

He has dark brown hair and a fair complexion and his build is quite moderate. His features are well defined and he doesn't have any significant physical marking on him. His hair is usually well-combed and he wears a sweet smile on his face. When nothing special is happening, he wears a sky blue tunic made of fine materials along with snow white trousers.

FAMILY:

Flint's family has been of nobility for quite a few generations and have served the royal family loyally. His father was named a Viscount after his own father's death and held that title until his own death after which Flint inherited the title. His older brothers, on the other hand, were granted higher titles due to their talent and intelligence and hold higher standings than Flint. Often, they use Flint for political reasons to spread their own influence, which Flint cannot refuse and half the time, he doesnt notice.

SIGNIFICANTS:

He has a flute made of silver that was imported from foreign lands that he enjoys playing. He keeps it in a velvet case in his room when he is not playing it.

PLOTS:

Maybe he can find someone who can help him set him mind straight and find a purpose, no matter if it's a true friend or a love interest. Or someone who just puts him through a traumatic experience.
