HISTORY:
----------Fáelán spent the first thirteen years of his life as the second prince of the banshees. Out of all his siblings he was always the quietest and most gentle, spending his time with music and literature. When his parents began forcing him to learn to fight he was opposed to it at first until he realized that with his physically weak body, not amount of artistic talent would enable him to protect his friends and family if the need arose. He trained though not nearly as hard as his brothers or even his sister. He always looked up to Keelin and, though he rarely felt any envy towards Cernunnos, was always mildly jealous of the attention she gave the older prince.PERSONALITY:
----------His life was filled with few shadows and mostly light until the day his father died. He suddenly felt empty, like a part of his heart had been ripped out and reality stolen from his mind. His mother managed, despite her overwhelming grief, to sneak her children to safety. Taking Keelin with herself, Fáelán and his brothers went in separate directions, each taking his own path of survival.
----------Fate was not in Fáelán's favor. Stumbling through the wilderness like a lost animal he was caught by slave traders who recognized him as a lost child and likely an orphan, in any case someone who would not be missed. He did not fight, he lost the will to fight when he lost his family. Doubting he could ever see them again and being unable to return to his home, he had nothing to live for. It was not until months after being sold and put to work in the mines that he woke up from his dazed state of complacency. What snapped him to reality was seeing an older worker be beaten by an overseer and his song screaming out for him. Blocked memories flooded his mind and he mourned silently before forming his resolve to be free, to live again.
----------Fae managed to escape the mines, but he was wounded and bleeding. For over a mile he managed to stumble until finally he collapsed in the middle of a forest. When he woke he found himself in the care of a healer named Lief who lived in the woods. Once he was well he stayed with Lief and his apprentice Celestia, whom he quickly became friends with. Lief taught him how to survive in the wilderness and the basics of non-magic healing. Eventually, however, he left, thanking the healer and his apprentice many times over for their hospitality and friendship. He made his way from city to city, making a living as both a bard and scribe, his old life as a prince left far behind him.
----------Fáelán is a dreamer. He wistfully speaks of touching the stars and of the wonders of the world, of ancient legends, and the song which life sings. He is not easily angered but if someone hurts the innocent or his friends he will not hesitate to act in defense and retribution. Despite his continual pondering he is surprisingly oblivious to some of the commonly recognized subtleties or even obvious aspects of normal communication towards himself, especially when it comes to love. He could tell within an instant if a man was eying a woman in that special way or if a woman was attempting to be flirtatious with a man, but had she turned her attention towards him with such actions he would become blind to it.FLAWS:
----------Fae knows how to put up a stage presence when preforming and knows how to carry himself in such a way that people overlook his age and pay attention only to his capabilities as a scribe, musician, and poet. He is a gentleman to all women and would never dream of harming or taking advantage of a girl, equally so he has a certain amount of bitterness or even hatred for men who do as such.
Fáelán is a good man but nobody is perfect. When he is upset sometimes the banshee temper will get the better of him and he has a hard time cooling down from anger despite it being a rarity. When it comes to his poetry and ballads, Fae is unguarded and when it comes to his opinions, he will spit out whatever he is thinking, eloquently of course, not thinking about what people's reactions will be. It is easier for him to forgive someone for w wrong doing than for him to apologize for his own mistakes. Sometimes he will space out, daydreaming and miss out of something important someone said to him or forget what he was going to do previously. As for relationships, he is remarkably oblivious to acts of flirtation and romantic interest directed at himself despite being able to pick up on it immediately when directed at others.APPEARANCE:
Fáelán is a tall more thinly built man. He does not have bulky muscles but is quite strong. His light brown feathered wings have a wingspan of just over six feet and are tipped with a golden color. He has a pleasant smile and a handsome face, like many of those with traces of faerie in their bloodline. His light brown hair is soft and extends down to the base of his neck where it is cut right before where it would begin to curl. As for clothes, Fae's normal attire is a white tunic with a brown leather vest and dark green trousers. He wears tall brown leather boots and owns a long dark green cloak with pockets inside.HEIGHT:6'

FAMILY:
Fáelán was the second prince of the Banshees before his father was assassinated. He always loved his family and looked up to his older siblings, but felt a touch of jealousy at the special attention Keelin gave Cernunnos. After the family split apart after fleeing the banshees, Fae became departed from his past. Though if he ever met his mother or siblings again he would be very happy, he can live without them and allows the lack of family and loss of his father to be a forgotten ache in his heart. Unlike some of his family, he does not seek revenge for his father.SIGNIFICANTS:
Fáelán plays the lute and carried his rather expensive good sound-quality lute around with him everywhere in its case which has a leather strap allowing him to sling it across his back. He carried no weapons besides a long hunting knife. As a scribe he always has paper, bottles of ink, and pens to write with on his person.PLOTS:
Hopefully, Fáelán will eventually be reunited with at least one of his family members as well as meet Celestia again as an adult.OTHER:
Despite being a banshee Fae tends to keep his wings tucked in close and not fly. He blocks his telepathy because he feels that it is an invasion of people's privacy. By this point in his life he does not even remember how to use telepathy. If he ever had to use it, it would very difficult and probably put great strain on his body and mind. The name "Fáelán" means "little wolf."ALIAS: Starflower
