HISTORY:

Born in Syphly City to Fredrick Lynch and Briee Lynch, Ava was expected to have a simple life under the teachings of her father, an accomplished Sorcerer. Though when she was only two, her family's destiny changed. After an Enchantment gone wrong, a rather disgruntled ex-client of Fredrick's torched the Lynch home, killing Briee as well as Ava's older brother, Thomas, whom was seven years old at the time. With no money, no belongings and nowhere to go, Fredrick and little Ava took refuge in the Enchanted forest where Fredrick made a small cottage.

Fredrick taught Ava magic like he had promised his late wife he would, though without the use of his spellbooks and magical aids, the progress was slow and money was low. When Ava was ten she came across a Hunter in the forest, he took a liking to Ava and offered to teach her the ways of the wild. Unlike magic, this had nothing to do with books and memorisation of incantations, Ava learned quickly and by age thirteen she was feeding herself as well as her father and still had enough game to sell to local forest dwellers. As money began to come in, Fredrick was able to start his business off again, and was able to teach her everything he could. Ava did not learn as quickly as she had Archery or Tree climbing, but she learned the Basics of Magic and more.

Life finally seemed to be heading in the right direction again for Fredrick and Ava, but tragedy had not yet finished with the Lynches. When Ava was fifteen, the Hunter that had taught Ava was still in close contact with Ava had moved on to other parts of the forest, and got in some trouble with a couple of Vampires. He owed them a lot of money, mostly for Ale and Gambling. When they found out he had a pretty friend just down the way, they thought they'd use her to get him to cough up their gold. They tracked her cottage down easily and took no patience in attacking. Ava managed to escape with some quick spellwork from her father, but he didn't quite make it out. She was magically transported deep into the forest, far from home, while he suffered an unknown fate. She found herself in the same spot she had been in only thirteen short years ago, wanted, poor and without a single belonging.

Ava learned to take care of herself from that day on, no longer owning much more than she could carry and was constantly on the move, trusting no one anymore.

PERSONALITY:

Ava has gone through three personalities, and one mask that is currently hiding her true self. Her first personalty would be from when she was dirt poor with her father. Sad, alone, helpless, she considers herself now rather pathetic, glooming around the forest with her 'tragic' life and lack of anything she could be proud of in her possession.

Her second was when she found she was actually talented at something, when she began to learn the richness of the forest and how to acquire that treasure through hunting and scavenging. She is happy and healthy and full of life.

Then, when she figured her father is dead and she had nothing for her left, she became damaged, like an apple dropped too many times tender bruises formed in her and she tried to hide them with fake bandages of pride and certainty. This is her now.

Ava, in first appearances, is proud and conceited. She never submits and strives to be better than everyone in anything she does, almost never backing out of a challenge. She is quick to defence, though occasionally flirtatious in her dealings. Though she appears she has everything, beauty, skill and independence, she is lonely (though she'd never admit it). She misses companionship, someone she can count on, someone who she can think of and smile. Ava has taught herself that everyone will betray her, and she cannot (and now will not) trust anyone. She has killed many animals, and perhaps even a few bandits that saw her as a beauty in the deep dark forest. She lives to survive, with no goals except live another day as a free woman.

Ava is a Huntress in all respects, selling her game for a stay at an inn or some other kind of service. She doesn't usually have much spare change, and when she does she always finds a way to get it off her hands. Maybe, inside she really doesn't want wealth, or comfort. When she knows she's in trouble though, she is reduced to petty thievery, stealing from merchants and wealthy costumers, usually pickpocketing them. She is rarely caught, and when she is, she can escape with ease. Ava has a few contacts that have been able to work with her, but they are strictly business, nothing is personal.

Overall, Ava is nothing but a survivor.

FLAWS:

-Ava has never really considered what it means to keep a promise. She lies all the time, often not even realizing it. She will betray people if she believes she should, and will not give it another thought. She doesn't like working with others, and after a while, they usually realize they don't like working with her much either.

-Ava doesn't start fights often, but she always finishes them. This leads her into many fights that could be avoided with a simple apology, but she'd rather slash a throat then beg for forgiveness.

-Ava has never had a committed relationship, or a relationship at all. She has never been with anyone in a romantic way at all and besides humorous flirting, she has never gone any further.

-Ava never seems to know what she wants, and mostly runs on her base instinct. She is often very conflicted in her heart, but will do everything she can to hide the fact.

-When it comes to being social, Ava is never as good as she thinks she is, it's not that hard to step back and see her rough edges and guess what's underneath.

-Ava has almost no friends, only 'work contacts'

-Ava is very secretive, and tries not to let on anything about her if she can prevent it.

APPEARANCE:

Ava is tall, and prefers dressing in shirts and pants, though they are usually meant for men. She only owns one, silk dress that is rather small for her. She doesn't often wear this and keeps it in the bottom of her bag most of the time.

Ava's eyes are a light blue and she has long, blonde hair that is a little wavy. It gives her an innocent look when down, but she can look dangerous when it's pinned up. Ava uses this to her advantage most of the time, having it down in the city and up when in the forest.

Though Ava has never concentrated on her looks, she is known by all who know her to be very beautiful. This can work for her or against her, depending on her angle.

Both her brother and her mother died when Ava was two so she has no memories of either of them, though I'd believe she would have had an excellent relationship with both of them if she had known them.

Her father, on the other hand, she loved very dearly. Though their relationship was not a typical father-daughter daddy's little princess format, they were all the other had. I think, for most of her life, she viewed him as odd, him being a bookworm and herself more of a combat kinda girl, she felt the need to protect him as much as he should have protected her. They loved each other and knew everything about the other and I believe they would have rarely fought, him being a loose parent with almost no rules.
