Celestia giggled when he lifted her up, memories flooding back to her in the short twirl. Now, Celestia wasn't one to dwell or wallow in the past. She moved on quickly and this allowed her to forgive and never hold a grudge. Despite all this, she hadn't forgotten Fáelán. Her memories of him were sweet and kind-though back then she barely knew a sprain from a fracture. She was still giggling by the time he set her down. "No, No. It's fine. I just don't want to hurt your arm." she said, gently touching his shoulder.
Celestia smiled and looked down to her feet, she felt like a child again, where Leif was just beginning to teach her the profession of healing and she was just learning the beauty of nature and how it differed from the kept gardens back in the luscious estate when she was a child. It was a peak time in her life, and Fáelán was right in the middle of it.
But, no matter how good it was to see him-he was still her patient. "You should rest, I can finish my work here and make you some soothing tea. Then we can chat about old time, okay?" she said sweetly, still smiling. She couldn't believe she hadn't recognized him at first. Only so many banshees had actually come down here to the forest for her help, and Fae was one of them.
She reluctantly turned away from her friend and leaned down to the badger and the girl. "Okay, So I've got a basket upstairs and he can stay outside. After that we shouldn't move him for a while." she said, getting up and going upstairs and coming back quickly with a short wicker basket lined with a soft blanket, also grabbing the cup of herb she had on the table from earlier.. She placed it beside the badger and as gently as if it were her own child, she picked it up and placed it inside. "Come with me, Fae, Ma'am, we can settle down outside. It's much too crowded in here." she picked up the the wicker basket with the herbs inside and lead the way back outside.
Celestia put the basket on the picnic table, beside her paints. She quickly put away all her paints quickly, which wasn't hard since there were only a few out. She moved it aside and grabbed a bucket of clean water, moving towards an open fire pit-though the fire wasn't going at the moment. There was a steel spit with a pot and a kettle hanging from it. She filled the kettle with water and grabbed the matches inside the pot and added some dry grass and fresh cut wood that was stored beside the pit. Slowly it grew and she let it begin to boil the kettle.
So once everything was good and stable, she sat at the picnic table and began to pet the badger.

----------Fáelán nodded and followed Celestia and the other client outside, settling down beside his old friend. The warm sun felt good. For the longest time grey clouds had covered the sky and it had begun to feel as if the true summer weather would never come. His eyes drifted over to Celestia and he could not help but smile. She seemed to be doing well, continuing in her work as a healer, still ever so loving and innocent, but she seemed more mature as well. Her attitude was more competent and less timid. Beyond the mental she had grown as well. Her long light blonde hair fell freely about her face and brushing gently across the fair skin of her arms where the ivory fabric of her sleeves was rolled up to the elbows. She had become more shapely as well but Fáelán forced himself not to think about it, and turned his attention back to her face and her every bright blue eyes. Over the years she went from the delicate and adorable little girl to a stunningly beautiful woman. ----------Suddenly realizing he had been staring at her for an uncomfortable amount of time he pulled his thoughts away from her appearance and filled the silence with words. "I'm glad to see you are doing well and still up to healing. Leif was right to take you in as his apprentice. No doubt saw the potential you possessed." He smiled, thinking back about the kindly old man.

Yuliya was very glad to go outside. She was familiar with outside. She had never lived any place but outside and didn't see how people could stand to live with four walls around them. Didn't they choke? Didn't they go crazy in their escape to the real world? She had felt like she was suffocating when she was only inside for a few minutes. Maybe other people had just learned not to breathe...yeah...that was it. So Yuliya was quick to jump up and follow her outside to sit by the badger with Apollo, Luna, and Streak following after her. Apollo was still not very happy, but he was much happier outside.
But being outside meant another fear grew more. If Amri was coming to look for her...he wouldn't think to check inside the building. He hated inside almost as much as she did so he wouldn't want to go inside and he'd also assume she wouldn't want to go inside...but now...he would see her immediately. She didn't trust these people, but they hadn't given her any reason for her to want them dead. But if Amri came, she couldn't think of a scenario where they would come out alive. She tried to shake the thoughts away and keep to herself by stroking Streak's head.

Celestia smiled, "Thank you. I really do enjoy it here. I don't know what I would have done without healing." she glanced around her beautiful home, from the fire pit to the benches to the stable in the back were Lylac began to graze. The thin canopy of trees over head swayed with a slight breeze and every time Celestia saw it, she knew she was home. It was her home, and she would live and die here, doing what she loved to do best, healing. Her whole life, planned perfectly. Very few people had this perfection she had in her life.
She began to look him over, marvelling at how tall and mature he had become. He was barely more than a child when she knew him, but now he was a young man. He still had the same face, but again, more mature. And my, had he gotten tall. When she was young she thought he was tall, but then again-she thought everyone was tall back them, being barely an appropriate size for her own age at the time. "What about you, what have you been doing all these years?"
From behind the house, two hissing cats tore the grass, chasing each other. One was jet black with pale amber eyes answering to the name Mary, the other was very young and small, most likely in adolescence. She was orange with white patches and had pretty grey eyes. The cat being chased stopped and hissed again, glaring at the little cat. The little cat, known as Lin, became disinterested when she saw the dog and the wolf by the young girl. She gave a mew as she began to approach with curiosity and playfulness in her eyes.

--------Fáelán turned his eyes up to the sky, watching the white clouds against the blue through the canopy of wood and leaf. "It's like those clouds up there," he said, gesturing upward. "Letting the wind carry me with its current, never knowing where I might next find myself or when a bird or mountain peak might next cross my path." He looked down and back to Celestia, smiling. "Music, writing, the work of a scribe and bard where ever it might be found from town to town." --------He leaned back and rested his hands behind his head, turning his face back to the sky and letting the rays of sunlight through the trees shine down on his face. "Oh Lord, I'm happy!" he said cheerily before suddenly wincing at the position of his arm and moving back into a forward position. It would be a while before it was back to normal, but he was never one to be able to keep such things in the front of his mind for long.

Yuliya's eyes brightened when the young cat came towards her. Most domesticated animals were very interesting to talk to. They were more like humans, but not at the same time. Some loved their owners and some hated them more than anyone else. In those cases Yuliya would steal them away and then Apollo and Luna would teach them how to hunt in the wild again. Then every once in awhile Yuliya would see them again in the woods and she would know she'd done the right thing. These two cats seemed happy enough though, and Apollo would be fine with her saying high.
So she leaned over slightly, being careful not to loom, and reached her hand out a bit, letting her decide if she wanted to come over and sniff her. Sniffing was very important. It was a sort of background check. It let an animal know where the person had been and it was very important. Yuliya hesitated before talking to her though, sometimes it startled animals who had gotten used to the fact that humans couldn't talk to them. But eventually she gave in and said, “Hello little one,” in her light and ghost-like voice. Luna also turned to the newcomer but was less wary and leaned down to sniff her.

Amri had woken up this morning to find Yuliya wasn't there, and that wasn't such an odd thing. He woke up late and she was often gathering plants for them to eat since Amri couldn't tell one plant from the other. So though he was disgruntled, he hadn't panicked. He'd sat around their little camp and eaten some bits of bread of cheese since there really wasn't much anything to do at their camp unless Yuliya was there and then they could tell stories and sing things and such...but she was taking so long. She normally wasn't this long. She knew he got paranoid if she was gone for too long so she never stayed out past midday...no, something was wrong, so he left with his sword to look for her.
He seethed as he crashed through the woods. Had someone taken her? Had she fallen into the river? He knew she couldn't swim...had a wild animal attacked her? No, that actually had never happened, nor had it happened to him as long as she was with him. But maybe something else had attacked her. His footsteps quickened with his worry until he burst into an opening in the woods...there was a house, and a table, and...Yuliya! He started rushing over when he saw two other people, a girl and a boy. Fury pulsed through him as he approached the man and held his over-sized sword out to him. “What the hell are you doing with her?” he yelled.

Celestia smiled, he seemed to be so happy in his life-other than of coarse his shoulder. She hoped he'd be more careful, as much as she'd love to see him again she hated seeing anyone hurt. She winced along with him and touched his gently, hoping he hadn't damaged it in anyway. Celestia had a way about over worrying about her patients. She'd swear they had the flu when all they did was have a catch in their throat, or worry that their bandages are too tight when they're already too loose.
Meanwhile, Lin happily approached Yuliya, sniffing her hand and even rubbing her cheek on her. Lin was so curious and friendly, whereas Mary watched carefully-though she was an old grump she really had taken a motherly role in the kitten's life. Lin walked right up to Luna and with her bright eyes, sniffed her big nose. She sneezed and when Yuliya spoke to her, she jumped and looked with wide eyes. "Hello!" she replied, curious how a human could speak to her.
Suddenly the big man came from the trees, Lin just jumped away but Mary was instantly threatened. She hissed and ran, grabbing Lin by the scruff and dragging her until she followed her back into the stables behind the house, complaining "But I wanna see the doggies!
Celestia took a protective role over her patient, Fae. She said, and for her, rather boldly, "Leave him alone!" before realizing what she had done and backing away a little, looking a little embarrassed and very scared of the big man. She avoided his gaze and instead looked at the ground behind her.

--------Fáelán smiled awkwardly in embarrassment. "Sorry for being such a self-neglectful patient," he laughed, only half-serious and making light of his injury. It was small. It would heal. He expected by the next day he would be back to playing his lute. One never quite realized how much the arm was used until it was incapacitated, even if only temporarily. --------Just as he was about to speak again the large intimidating man who seemed to be practically made of muscle came rushing up to them, fury in his strikingly bue eyes. To Fáelán's surprise Celestia stood up to defend him and he felt as if their roles had been reversed. As children it was always him or Leif protecting her from a wild animal or an unfriendly customer. After a brief moment of pride for his old friend he rose to his feet and brushed past her, his hand gently touching her arm, and stood between her and the stranger. --------"Sir, if you have need of a medic to heal you wounds you have come to the right place, but if you are seeking violence in order to create said wounds, I recommend you do so elsewhere and come back when you're ready to have your bloody body patched up in the aftermath." Glancing over at the badger girl, he turned back to the newcomer. He spoke quickly, not knowing how long the man's patience would last. "Now as for your furious statement, in reference to Celestia, she is an old friend of mine who happens to also be a wonderful medic helping me with a dislocated shoulder. In reference to the other girl, I have no relation to her what so ever and she is merely here for some medical help with a badger. We mean her no harm." His light attitude darkened somewhat to full seriousness with his next statement which came almost as a threat. "I mean you no harm as well so long as you do not so much as lay one finger on our lovely medic here."

Yuliya's attention was abruptly taken from her conversation with the kitten to the arrival of her brother. Part of her breathed a sigh of relief. Nothing bad ever happened to her when Amri was around. She remembered the feeling of seeing him after days of being kidnapped. She was just lying by herself, chained up, knowing she'd never get back to her family again, lying down and accepting her fate and feeling the wood of the cart below her and letting it rock her into oblivion when she heard a thump and looked to see his face in the bars, and she knew everything would be alright. She knew he'd rescue her. She knew they wouldn't be followed. She knew she'd end up safe and sound as long as he was there.
But she also wanted the badger to get healed. She didn't know how much more the badger needed though. He could be alright already but while he was still sleeping she couldn't know. But it wasn't like there was anything she could do to stop Amri, and it wasn't like she was overly attached to these people. The man she didn't care about at all, he'd simply ignored her and she felt no need to go to lengths to try and save his life. Apollo left her side to go stand by Amri's and growl at the man also, since he hadn't liked him to begin with either. Luna nudged her leg so that Yuliya would stand shakily, and Streak hopped onto the table as if he was also offering his services to Amri. Yuliya just looked on, wondering if she should say something.

Amri rolled his eyes. “You think I have any interest in some dumb ugly healer and her boyfriend who's trying to act tough to impress her? Get over yourself,” he said snidely as he shifted his feet so that he stood between them and Yuliya. He'd dealt with this before, guys trying to fight him so they could impress their girls, but they would find out it was rather hard to impress a girl if you were dead, unless she was a necrophiliac or something. In that case becoming dead was a very romantic and sacrificial thing to do, but he would question the intelligence of a guy willing to do that when a girl could just go dig up a corpse.
“Willow, are you alright? Did they hurt you?” he asked over his shoulder in a soft and slow voice. They could've done anything to her, and she was always too shy and startled to do anything about it or admit to him that something happened. He could just feel that something bad had happened and this guy was to blame. He would have let the girl off the hook but since the guy had been obnoxious he probably wouldn't let her go unscathed. Hell, they had probably been in it together anyway. “So a dislocated shoulder?” he asked though he wasn't really asking, as he moved his sword to thrust sharply at his shoulder. “Still hurt?”

--------"She's fin-" he was cut off abruptly by a piercing, quite literally, pain in his shoulder. It is strange the things that go through ones mind when one is stabbed through the shoulder with a sword wielded by an intimidatingly strong man. The first instinct is to flinch back, which Fáelán found himself doing in the split second before the blade made contact. The second is to cry out in pain which he also managed to fulfill but somehow managed to keep it down to a quite wincing and jaw-clenches whimper. Hardening his face he fought off the blurring of his eyes as the pain rushed through his whole body. Celestia was going to be so upset of this as any healer would after seeing their patient wounded before their eyes. --------"I-" he winced. "I promise she was not harmed." he weakly said, looking down at the ground as he spoke. He turned his eyes towards the girl with the badger, pleading for some kind of affirmation before looking down once more. "Whatever wrong you accuse myself or Celestia of, whether it is true or not, you can beat me senseless over it, but in return take your..." he paused a moment to think, realizing the remarkable similarities between the two strangers overlooking the hair color. "Sister and leave this place in peace." He needed to get this man away from Celestia. The last thing he wanted was to be reunited with his old friend after all these years only to end up being the reason she was harmed.

“Sounds exactly like the kind of thing someone would say if they'd tried to hurt her,” he snarled. Of course he would've tried to hurt her, she was a person who looked easy to hurt, she looked like she could be broken in half with your bare hands. People loved taking advantage of that sort of person, they were the people who got knocked down in the streets and stolen from at night. It didn't help that she had an even worse case than other meek people, a person could completely walk over her. It was his job to make sure that didn't happen, but for some reason people thought it was odd that he was so protective, as if it was a strange thing he'd want to keep her alive.
“Now are you just going to lie down and submit like the pathetic scum you are or are you going to attempt to fight like a man?” he taunted, pulling his sword back to let him at least attempt to draw a weapon, he wasn't a complete savage. Not that he thought the guy drawing a weapon would give him any better of a chance of beating him, he looked weak, like a pansy, the exact type of person who would beat on Yuliya just cause she was the only person they were bigger than. Oh how he was ready to beat him to the ground.
